Interior Drain Systems

Interior Drain System

American Foundation & Basement Repairs, LLC offers interior drain systems to provide you with a moisture free basement. We are basement waterproofing experts and we know that keeping a basement dry, healthy, and mold free is among the most vital things you can do to improve a house, and that's why we provide effective interior drain systems for houses in: Knoxville, Chattanooga, Asheville, Johnson City, and Cookeville. A wet basement may harbor harmful mold and mildew that not only live, but also flourish and spread in moist places. Such fungi can trigger allergies, breathing problems, along with other health problems in humans and pets. A moist basement is also commonly home to unwanted bugs and pests.

Another drawback to a wet basement is that it can drastically affect a home's foundation, leading to cracks along wall surfaces and floors. This can happen to homes built both above and below ground level. It is a good idea to install a basement waterproofing system before these unhealthy and costly effects come about.

The Best Way To Mitigate Basement Water

Interior Drain

The most effective and long-lasting means to fix a wet basement is to set up an interior drainage system. Unlike an exterior drainage system, basement drainage inside a house won't damage the home's outdoor area or yard. Plus, interior basement systems are a lot more cost-effective than outdoor systems, because they do not call for home excavation, and can be set up in a couple of days.

A certified contractor from American Foundation & Basement Repair can set up an interior basement drainage system across any kind of wet or leaking walls of a basement, and along a basement perimeter or crawl space. Once put in, the system then accumulates excess water and pumps it outside, away from the house, by way of a sump pump.

As it is with many basement waterproofing products, some interior basement drainage systems are superior to others. American Foundation & Basement Repair utilizes SafeBasements™ drain tile systems for homes with leaky basements. This waterproofing product manufacturer continues to improve upon their products to guarantee that homeowners will have a dry and safe basement for many years to come.

It's the very base on which your home sits. Therefore, it's important to keep it dry and free from any moisture problems which could lead to the development of mold or structural problems.
